Skill-based competition is pervasive and exists in many forms, yet most initiatives lack the adequate tools and resources to achieve the visibility and scale they are truly capable of. At Skild, we’re rethinking - and disrupting - how organizations approach old problems in a whole new way: through Intelligent Competition. Skild has powered prizes, awards and challenges ranging from $5K to $2.2M in prize money for organizations such as Red Hat, Hilton, American Express, Harley-Davidson, Google, Sprint, IBM, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the government of Abu Dhabi.
We are looking for a Client Services Associate who understands the value of cultivating and nurturing client relationships. You will ultimately be responsible for engaging directly with clients and ensuring high retention and customer satisfaction. While this is not a direct sales role, some soft-sales may be required.
Overview:
In this full-time role you will work with new and existing clients to ensure that we are effectively transitioning them into Skild and that client satisfaction is super high. This is not a support role, but more of a proactive role where activities are driving toward customer activation and marshalling any required resources from Skild on behalf of the client. Creative, energetic and self-driven, you understand each customer’s need and know what you can do to deepen their trust so clients stay and grow with Skild. You also love understanding a product in depth and then communicating that product to your clients. If you love working with customers and have thrived in a role like this before, then we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities:
- Transition new clients into Skild via phone calls and/or webinars
- Engage with clients at every step and ensure that they are activated according to plan
- Be proactive with each new account to ensure proper event configuration and functionality
- Increase client retention by performing regular “health checks”
- Handle demo requests when the need arises
- Conduct training and other webinars for general client base
- Work closely with engineering to identify and track bugs
- Function as the voice of the customer during scheduled meetings with the product development team
- Rapidly learn our model and the space in which we operate, including crowdsourcing competitions, social networking and enterprise 2.0
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree required
- 1-2 years prior account management experience
- SaaS experience is a big plus
- Self-motivated team player who has fresh ideas when it comes to client operations
- Enjoys working closely with clients to ensure complete client satisfaction
- A real go-getter who takes the initiative to get things done
